I am extremely proud of SACO when we were commended during assembly today as part of the closing of Saints on Stage and Team SAJC season :-)
It's so awesome to take that bow and being able to stand in front of the school with everyone (We actually filled 2 rows! We are such a big family hahaha)

SACO FULL STRENGTH
hey guys!!
we did a good job yesterday! :D
i wanna thank all of you for putting up with me all these months X)
and for your hardwork and cooperation X)

i'll miss the pre-SYF period =(

I really, really appreciate and am so proud of each and every one of you :-)

saints orchestra.
this is it. after all the practices, on wed will be everything that you guys have worked for.
don't play to be the most pleasant sounding, don't play to be the most technical, play for the people around you, the person beside you. once you start playing and working for one another, you find that the song takes a whole new meaning, you'll feel a kind of joy that you simply can't explain, and for no apparent reason you'll smile.
there is only one chance, go out there, give it your best shot and never be regretful of that performance because you know that you have given it your all.

Here to post some of my comments for you guys and maybe some little pointers to help earn some marks here and there.
1. Neatness
Had always been a been a problem since day 1
while there are significant improvements
it definitely can be nicer (esp TBY, since you will be the most obvious)
examples I can quote will be set piece bar 65-69
how to solve, SL to co-ordinate
before 'entering' make sure your members 呼吸
as in breather in tandem, then that will make sure you guys come in as a section tgt
did this prac with Pipa, any doubts ask Kenneth
2. Muffled (Dynamics)
Dynamics are not obvious enough
Very minimal (I feel)
小声不够小声，大声不够大声
hence, SLs, before you guys start practicing on wed itself
do this as a form of warm-up
everybody to tremelo a single note starting from p
then slowly crescendo to mp mf then f
each volume for about 10s
then dimuendo back to p
in the process, remembering your own 力度 for each volume
then bring this to the morning practice
subsequently for SYF
did this will TBY also, ask Kenneth if my explanations aren't clear
3.台风
Very minimal as well
other than cello/bass, nice natural and suave~
can see some1(female, don't know her name, sorry~) from erhu having very nice taifeng
do spread this throughout entire erhu, then the effect would be nice :D

2 days is sufficient to overcome these problems
so SLs, please assist, last 2nd mission for SACO!
what I have to say is
you guys improved TREMENDOUSLY
from day 1 your music was like noise
till yesterday when I heard your 'informal' dazu
left 2 practices, practice hard
familiarise yourself with the songs
and then treat wed as a performance, not a competition
play happily, then your music will be nice
don't stress!! important, like what I tell my TBY dearies
放松!! and you will do just fine :D
